The team is awaiting Phoenix City Council approval and more information about the project will be released soon. The streetscape project, on Washington Street from Central Avenue to the state Capitol at 19th Avenue, will include sidewalk, landscaping and bus stop improvements. All of the street enhancements will be in preparation for Arizona's 100th birthday celebration on February 14, 2012.
