47th Avenue storm drain

This project included the construction of 2,650 LF of 42” storm drain, 300 LF of 15”, 18”, and 24” laterals to eight catch basins, and nine storm drain manholes. Achen-Gardner also removed and replaced 3,000 SY of asphalt. The wet utility improvements were located on 47th Avenue from Glendale Avenue to Orangewood Avenue. Completion of this project alleviated local flooding that had been an issue in the neighborhood for years.
