DESIGN-BUILD

Design-Build (DB) is a project delivery method in which one entity (typically a DB team comprised of a design engineer and a general contractor) works together under a single contract with the project owner to provide design and construction services. In a one-step DB, selection of the DB team by the project owner is based on qualifications. In a two-step DB, selection of the DB team by the project owner is based on qualifications and price.
