Alma School Road Water Main

Achen-Gardner Construction worked with Pimara Construction to install 24,300 LF of water line (20,600 LF of 4” to 16” PVC and 3,700 LF of 8” to 16” DIP) in a new alignment within public right of way and the abandonment of the existing water line on public and private property. The scope also included 66 gate valves, 51 new service connections with more than 3,000 LF of associated pipe (1” to 2”), 45 fire hydrants, the removal and replacement of 26,000 SY of pavement, and miscellaneous concrete repairs. The pipe was installed along Alma School Road from McKellips Road to Montebello Avenue. We worked closely with stakeholders and residents to maintain safety and access during construction.
