Achen-Gardner is proud to have been a sponsor and volunteer at the Sky Kids Fly Day Event For Special Kids held at Scottsdale Municipal Airport on Nov. 7.
The Sky Kids event gave more than 100 children with special needs an opportunity to fly in a general aviation aircraft with an expert pilot along with a parent or friend to experience the wonders and enjoyment of flight. It was a fun day on the ground too, with face painting, a BBQ lunch, Star Wars characters, yo-yo champions, helper dogs, clowns, aircraft displays, and much more. This is the second time a fall Sky Kids Fly Day Event has been hosted at the Scottsdale Municipal Airport in addition to the annual spring event at Phoenix-Goodyear Airport. Thank you to all of the volunteers and sponsors who made this year's Scottsdale Fly Day Event possible.
