The American Public Works Association (APWA)'s Arizona Chapter and Southern Arizona Branch have announced their Project of the Year Award winners. We are honored and proud to win two awards for two different projects in two different categories.

The Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements - Broadway Road from Mill Avenue to Rural Road project for the City of Tempe has won an Arizona Chapter APWA Project of the Year Award in the Transportation (Less than $5M) category. We will accept the award at the Arizona Chapter APWA Conference on August 3, 2017, at the Hilton El Conquistador in Tucson, AZ.

The Valencia Road (Mark Road to Wade Road) project for the Pima County Department of Transportation has won an APWA Southern Arizona Branch Project of the Year Award of Merit in the Transportation ($5M to $25M) category. We will accept the award at the APWA Southern Arizona Branch Award Banquet on March 30, 2017, at the Tucson Electric Power Downtown Headquarters in Tucson, AZ.

Both project award submittals have been sent to National APWA for national project of the year award consideration.
